Sometimes the Truth Hurts

the simple answer is,
you're afraid to trust,
Even though everyone tells you,
that trust is a must,
Sossina....you're afraid to trust.
I know you want to let go,
of what seems a childish scar,
but scars dont heal and scars,
are what they are.
theres not a lotion you can rub,
on them to make you feel okay,
they are there forever,
they refuse to go away,
Its a fear inside your head,
a fear thats really real,
you want to be free cause,
this fear is what you feel,
you want to believe that things,
could be the same,
go back to normal,
but they can't,
cause sossina you're,
scarred forever by the pain.
